“Learn Korean on your own“ is a CD-Rom that comes with a set of North Korean textbooks from 1995, and contains a language course of its own. In this video I show you all of the 10 video dialogues that are included, in which a man from Singapore visits the DPRK. This is an interesting piece of history, seeing as it was released during the 90s, which, as you probably know, was a time when North Korea was going through a terrible famine (“The Arduous March“). I decided to upload this, seeing as there is also a great lack of materials online related to the North Korean dialect. I hope you enjoy. --------- 0:00 - Intro 0:22 - Greetings 1:01 - At the hotel 1:28 - In a restaurant 2:30 - At the Doctor's 3:49 - Weather 4:33 - City sightseeing 5:39 - Asking the way 6:03 - Shopping 6:49 - Business 8:24 - Exit
