Various locations including Kew Gardens, Chelsea Flower Show. Story all about horticulture. Lots of lovely shots of flowers and plants but also shots of seed propagation, Chelsea Flower Show and work in greenhouses etc. Man chips away at a block of ice. Ice is used to hold back flowers from their natural bloom time. C/Us of beautiful flowers. Seed trial area - Sutton's Seeds of Reading. Bees are washed so that they don't carry unknown pollen to the pedigree flowers they are growing. Bee released into a special muslin covered plant. Beekeeper lifts out part of a hive and places it in a special carrying box. The bees are then released in a greenhouse. Good C/U of a bee on purple flower. C/U of a woman removing anthers from a flower with tweezers. Pollen is then brushed onto the inside of a flower. Man uses a rabbit's foot (for real!) to dust flowers with pollen.
