So many orphans come into care each year but there are ways that we can mitigate many of the hazards they encounter. Never use large aperture anti bird netting on your fruit trees, remove barbed wire fencing, keep your doggies and moggies inside at night, call in flying-foxes on overhead power lines as they may have a live baby onboard and plant native trees and shrubs for wildlife. Let's all work together to keep these babies with their mothers and help make the world a safer place for wildlife.
