At AMB, KUKA presented three practical applications and demonstrated vision and sensor solutions for technically challenging problems. With the intelligent software extension , gripping and transferring objects lying loosely in containers is quick and uncomplicated. The system uses a 3D environment for visualization. Movements are determined on the basis of a powerful library. Collision-free path planning, taking into account the entire structure of the robots, the gripper and the environment, avoids downtime. A simple workflow enables the realization of bin picking solutions even for beginners. The user can create their project flexibly. Thanks to predefined and compatible components, integration at the company can happen without much effort. This makes extensions on the robot flange a thing of the past.
