We open this week’s Dungeon Synth Sunday with the second album from French dark medieval dungeoneer Baddoar, and his project Wydraddear. Hermit Of The Great Whole is a somewhat more labyrinthine journey than his debut, Castle Above The Mist, yet it retains the stately, atmospheric drones, ambience and sense of far-away mysticism, albeit one which is at turns more tense, and claustrophobic.
