This is the moment an explosion interrupted Gazan journalist Plestia Alaqad’s report. The young woman has been sharing personal accounts of life under Israeli bombardment on her social media: Gaza, devastated by airstrikes, and her neighbours’ ruined houses. Alaqad says there is almost no internet and no electricity in Gaza. No ambulances can reach any location through the destroyed streets. Listen to the girl in our video.
