In typical detail overkill this cutscene is slightly different at night. Remember the pedestrians Joy narrowly misses and her screaming for them to get out of the way? Well, not happening when it’s night time. It is actually a challenge to reach this place so late. The area leading up to it is so small that no player could ever not set foot outside of it before sundown. And Hong Kong isn’t calming down at night like Dobuita does. So why did they remove the pedestrians and also Joy’s warning for no playthrough to ever have it happen? Because Shenmue!
