The apistogramma borellii is a hardy species of dwarf cichlid that is great for beginners and experts alike. It has beautiful streaks of blue and red on its' face, a stunning blue body, and bright yellow fins. This fish can tolerate a wider range of parameters than other dwarf cichlids such as german blue rams or apistogramma agassizii. They work great in planted aquariums and community aquariums. There is a good chance that they will breed as well if they are given a proper set up.
