Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni discussed the conflict in Ukraine in a phone call with Russian pranksters. Meloni’s office confirmed that she had been “misled” into the phone call, by two Russian comedians, that took place on September 18. According to her office, the prankster “passed himself off as the president of the African Union Commission”. The 13-minute-long prank call was shared online on November 1 by the duo, who have also pranked other leaders in the past.
