On 29 July 1981, an estimated 750 million people tuned in worldwide to witness the wedding of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer. Around 600,000 lined the streets of London to watch the spectacular procession pass from Buckingham Palace to St Paul’s Cathedral and back again. To mark the occasion, we have decided to share nearly three hours of the day’s coverage – in real-time.
