Shot Show - New For 2016: Caspian, Colada, Colada CPM S35VN, Bush Mate Machete [ENG] COLADA: Colada is a compact knife with a utilitarian blade shape, no frills here. Although it is small, its performance remains high. It is versatile in function and beautiful in style. The 100mm long blade is a drop point profile, a basic design, centuries old but timeless. It is for those who require a great, small scale all rounder with the capability to prepare food, kindling for a fire and process game up to a medium size. This knife was developed in collaboration with experts from one of the largest Russian knife forums, . Their feedback, input, experience and knowledge have gone into making this knife a reality. Something we are proud of. This is a full tang knife, with handle scales crafted from the roots of our best Caucasian Walnut. While guard-less, this knife remains safe to use with the addition of a small recess just behind the blades edge. “Colada“, meaning “cleansed“ in Spanish is an apt description for this model, with simple clean lines and no un-neccesssary features. The genuine leather sheath features a dual position belt loop for high or low carry options, depending on your preference. This knife is simple yet elegant, functional yet beautiful. It is rare to have all these characteristics within one product but we believe we have achieved it. CASPIAN: Caspian, like the Caspian Sea, unites east and west in itself. Traditional shapes bring thoughts of ancient knives of Caucasus, while the blade features “bowie“ blade shape so popular in the west. The knife connecting such distant motives came out quite remarkable. It is a knife with a strong aggressive tip and blade length of 14.2 cm that begs to be put to work. “Bowie“ shape is popular among the American hunters for a reason. Any task from game processing and clothes mending to camp setting and preparation of food, is no longer a problem with such a knife. It works just as great in piercing, cutting and hacking. The blade is made from AUS-8 steel that is well-known by its plasticity, ease in sharpening as well as great corrosion resistance. Traditional materials - handle scales from Caucasus walnut and traditionally shaped leather sheath will appeal to those appreciating classic natural materials, their proven reliability and pleasant feelings they give. Comfortable warm handle with smooth underfinger grooves and fine edges together with extensive guard ensure a secure grip. BUSH MATE: Kizlyar Supreme’s take on an Australian-inspired machete used by the Aussie Army. Australia has quite a lot of dry bush growing wherewhere you go in the outdoors so these guys know what type of machete works best to walk through it. An early version prototype of Bush Mate got third place in a large testing of over 40 best machetes from different manufacturers from all over the world conducted by a Russian knife forum in summer 2015, taking first place in its price and design group. After the testing we worked for extra 6 months to perfect Bush Mate even further - improved the blade, the handle and created a nice comfortable sheath so now you can finally clear that brush in your backyard and have fun doing it.
