Whether it is disgruntlement from a brusque email or discontent from an unfortunate conversation, professional disagreements can be a stressful experience. To handle them with a satisfactory outcome in mind, one will require strategies aimed at avoiding hostility as well as turning the situation around in a favourable way. These strategies include using appropriate tentative language alongside applying certain soft skills which facilitate oral and written communication in challenging situations. In this practical session, we will explore real life examples of such skills and language as well as practice implementing them in resolving various conflicts of interests and disputes within a professional environment.
