Why nobody lives in Wyoming. The reasons the population of Wyoming is relatively low are complicated. It is a harsh environment and land, lacks of water, is very mountainous, and has a lot of open lands. It is hard for cities to pop up when the real estate is hard to work with. Some people aren’t really sure the Cowboy state actually exists. Before we go on, I’ve been there, it's a thing. Wyoming is the least populated state. They are number 50 when it comes to the national head count. 51st if you count Washington DC. They have the fewest people but come in as the 10th largest state.
