The Chinese Army released a new video demonstrating the QLU-11 sniper grenade launcher. The launcher has a five or seven round drums. A bigger drum is available for the mounted scenario. The launcher fires 35mm grenades, and it has one of the most sophisticated fire control units of medium-weight grenade launchers. This ensures the grenade can be delivered at high accuracy, earning its name as a sniper grenade launcher. It can shoot grenades into bunker openings or windows a few hundred metres away, or hit a car-size target further away. The QLU-11 has a semi-automatic fire control unit. The fire control computer can put information from the optics, range finder, and wind velocity measurement device together, then provide the shooter guidance to adjust the aiming point. This ensures that when fired, the grenade will have an accuracy that few launchers can match. The 35mm grenade has high explosive and armour penetration versions.
