Here’s a transcript of the video: Paul Francis: Welcome to the Zildjian Sound Lab video. Today we’re going to talk about a cymbal that’s quite old, actually, in our catalogue. It’s the Z3 Mega Bell Ride. The firs time the Mega Bell Ride made its introduction was back in 1989 in the original Z Series, which was an unlathed, hammered and brilliant finish cymbal. Zildjian decided to keep it in the Z Custom series, which was a series that was lathed, hammered and buffed. And now with the Z3 series we’ve also kept it and applied the same lathing, hammering and finish techniques as in all the other Z3 cymbals. Now the great thing about the Mega Bell Ride is that it has really, really clear stick definition, and this humongous bell that can cut through the largest stack of speakers.
