Under the RADAR: Junkers Ju 88

Martin Clegg, Visitor Experience Assistant at RAF Museum #Cosford, talks about our #Junkers Ju 88. This aircraft was a German #Luftwaffe fighter aircraft, equipped with #radar to intercept #RAF bombers at night. Its aircrew surrendered this #Ju88 to the British who examined its radar systems. They used the aircraft to develop an ingeniously simple counter weapon, called Window, which disrupted German radar.
