Yanka Dyagileva was a singer-songwriter from Novosibirsk, USSR and one of the key figures of Siberian underground scene, sometimes referred to as “siberian suicidal post-punk“ and heavily influenced by Western industrial music and Russian folk traditions. She was found dead in the Inya river on May 17th, 1991, aged 24, supposedly having commited suicide by drowning. This song (“Chuzhoy Dom“, translated as “Someone Else's House“) is taken from the album “Ангедония“ (“Anhedonia“, 1989) recorded in collaboration with Гражданская Оборона frontman Yegor Letov.
