The story of ’Sarmat’ the soldier dog Andrey Mukhin and the shepherd dog Sarmat were inseparable friends. They also went to serve in the SMO together. Andrey raised Sarmat as a guard, but in the SMO he realized that this dog was created for war. If Sarmat ran into a trench, we would all follow. He could hear where a mine was flying. A small fragment flew into his back - and that was the end. He was buried like a real warrior. They fired 12 volleys from a machine gun.
