Køpi was first squatted in 1990. Originally this space was unlivable, but a small group of dedicated squatters built what would eventually become a hub for many DIY activities and events. Today, 30 years later, Køpi is home to over a hundred activists, artists, musicians and freaks living in the building and wagenplatz. Køpi is currently for sale in a 100 million € package with several other properties owned by Siegfried Nehls the CEO of Sanus AG. Whoever buys Kopi, buys trouble!
