Guitar, Ukulele, Bass, Mandolin, Resonator Guitar, Arranged By, Performer – Justin Johnson If Walls Could Talk is the upcoming Roots/Americana album by multi-instrumentalist Justin Johnson, inspired by a Braxton Dixon built home in the Tennessee Hills, where Justin is writing and arranging the music for this newest release. Braxton Dixon is the renowned architect who designed and built the homes of music icons such as Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, & Marty Stuart, using centuries-old wood and one-of-a-kind architectural treasures. Following up on that inspiration of writing and recording within hallowed walls steeped in history and tradition, the album is set to be recorded at the legendary Cash Cabin this April, and will be produced by 5X Grammy Award winning producer, John Carter Cash.. son of the one and only Johnny Cash. In preparation for this new recording project, Justin has spent the winter in Nashville TN, devoting his undivided attention to writing and arranging the music for If Walls Could Talk. He found his inspirational sanctuary nestled in the hills just north of Nashville, in a home built by the legendary architect, Braxton Dixon. The time in this beautiful home has inspired the warm, raw, and deeply Roots-based sound and feel of this album. The time spent within these walls has yielded a wealth of new original songs.. and steeping in the musical culture and traditions of Nashville has left an unmistakable mark on the tracks that will comprise If Walls Could Talk, which will pay homage to the Folk, Country, Blues, and Americana influences that Music City is famous for.
