Jodie Foster and Tahar Rahim, as well as director Kevin Macdonald, spoke to THR about making their film ’The Mauritanian,’ based on the true story of Mohamedou Ould Slahi and his book ’Guantánamo Diary.’ The stars and director opened up about meeting the real Slahi, as well as what he told them that stuck with them while filming.
