Louie Louie (24 Hour Party People)

This scene is taken from the excellent 24 Hour Party People movie. The actors play the protagonists of the last night of the Factory club in Manchester. Jon The Postman used to jump onstage at punk gigs and scream Louie Louie alone, here he is with members from Factory bands like Joy Division and an audience including their manager Rob Gretton and Factory founder Tony Wilson. Of course Louie Louie is a rock'n'roll classic made famous by The Kingsmen and legendary covers from bands like The Stooges.
