The double stroke roll is just “Right Right | Left Left“, but there is so much for to it than just that. There is a balance between how loose and tight you should hold your sticks as you increase your speed and there is a balance of wrist and fingers. The double stroke roll works just like the single stroke roll - it's played in a sequence of alternating strokes (roll). But instead of having one stroke per hand you'll have two.
