Here’s the EP’s opening, the theme of Chrysalis. I see her as a fallen queen who wants her army and her throne back. What I wanted to do here is a slow beginning with some sort of dangerous vibe and a slight touch of sorrow/sadness, hidden behing a mask of hateful rage. I see her coming back alone in the first place, gathering more and more drones. And, at the end, when she gets her army back, I tried to put some choirs chanting her name. I like how this piece turned out and Maria Grigoryeva’s outstanding
