Following the release of the album, founding member Ted Turner left the band, resulting in a shift of the band’s musical approach. This double live album was recorded in June 1973 at Croydon Fairfield Halls, Reading University, Newcastle City Hall, and Portsmouth Guildhall, using The Rolling Stones Mobile Recording Studio.
