Combat work of Sani mortar crews Modernized mortars 2S12A Sani are actively used by artillery crews of the Vostok group of troops in the Ugledar direction of a special military operation to destroy manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located both in open areas and in shelters. The mortar complex includes a 2B11 mortar of 120 mm caliber, characterized by a high rate of fire and combat accuracy with a firing range of more than 7 kilometers. The rate of fire of aimed fire is also impressive: the system is capable of firing up to 10 rounds per minute. Such a high rate of fire ensures a high level of suppression and provides effective support to the group’s motorized rifle units. Also, the complex includes a wheel drive and a means of transportation based on the Ural-43206 vehicle, equipped with a special winch for loading and unloading the mortar. The wheel drive is designed for quick delivery to the firing position and back. Transferring the mortar from the traveling position to the “combat” position and back takes less than three minutes.
