The Northern Territory has recorded 9 new cases, all were announced last night and are from the remote community of Binjari, near Katherine. Chief Minister Michael Gunner confirmed the nine cases announced late last night are four women aged 23-78 and five men aged 17-47 and are from different households. A 78-year-old woman is being treated in Royal Darwin Hospital, while the other eight cases have been taken to Howard Springs. The Australian Defence Force is assisting with transferring positive cases and close contacts.
