Usually, when you see “DJ” in front of someone’s name, it means they prefer turntables and mixing boards to microphones. DJ Marley Waters, however, is the exception to the rule; not only does he produce (You may remember his boardwork from Tinashe‘s chart-topping 2 On), he’s also an accomplished singer and songwriter. On debut solo feature and new single Onto You, he showcases the full breadth of his skillset, crafting an island-flavored instrumental to back him as he serenades a woman in his life.
