The Petzl name is known for high quality and standards, but the Black Diamond seems to be just as well built and has more features in the end (plus it’s a bit cheaper). One big flaw with the Black Diamond Spot is its red light. It is REALLY dim and is basicaly only good for viewing what you are doing with your hands. Both are great lights and we hope this review will help you make a more educated buying decision.
