Donna Summer's I Feel Love had not yet taken off as a single off her I Remember Yesterday album, before Moroder was back in the studio to record a fully electronic album for himself. When released late July, 1977, Summer's groundbreaking record was topping the charts everywhere. Billboard called Moroder's LP “a strikingly original and satisfying album. From Here To Eternity could easily become one of 1977's most influential records.“ A single edit of From Here To Eternity (mixed with Utopia - Me Giorgio) hit the UK shops in September, in Germany it was not until October, giving Moroder a European Top 20-hit. It is a superb album from start to finish. I have expanded it with an obscure 1976 single which Moroder recorded under the name Musicland Set on his Oasis label. 00:00 From Here To Eternity 05:53 Faster The Speed Of Love 07:52 Lost Angeles 10:36 Utopia - Me Giorgio 14:00 From Here To Eternity (Reprise) 15:42 First Hand Experience In Second Hand Love 20:40 I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone 25:45 Too Hot To Handle Bonus Tracks: 30:34 From Here To Eternity (Single Version) 34:27 Musicland Set: Take Five (1976 Single) 37:40 Musicland Set: Entreprise (B-Side) 41:18 From Here To Eternity (1985 Remix)
