End of what was probably a long distance race. Interspersed through story are CUs of athletes speaking; while being interviewed; 2nd man is black (African-Canadian). Possibly includes Percy Williams; who won both the 100m & 200m dash events at the 1928 Olympics. Williams; age 19; had hitchhiked across Canada to compete in these trials.
