In the Eifel GP, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen posted the DHL Fastest Lap for the second time this season, finishing second behind race winner Lewis Hamilton after the two of them had fought hard for the DHL Fastest Lap over the final few laps at the Nürburgring. Verstappen had started the eleventh race of the year from third place on the grid. He held this position during the early stages of the race but found himself in second place behind race-leader Hamilton when pole-sitter Valtteri Bottas lost power, pit
