Everyone admired and respected him. He lived with his wife, the Queen, in an immense castle proudly standing on the hills. They were happy and the kingdom was at peace. One morning, something horrible happened. The Queen didn't wake up. She who was so young and so beautiful, what a dreadful fate. The king was devastated and never recovered. He was so sad that he locked himself in his castle. Crying every night at the foot of his deceased wife's bed, spilling into it streams of tears. Nearby was an ancient forest where a mage lived. He was, it seems, always accompanied by a Gnome possessing very strange powers. One day, as the sunset began to fall on the kingdom, The mage went into the forest and called on the spirits to help. Suddenly, magnificent sparkling fairies emerged and illuminated the place. Offering an absolute spectacle to their eyes! The Mage did a wonderful thing, and the fairies and his friend were amazed. He materialized the King's tears in an immense waterfall, so as to alleviate his sadness. The good king never shed tears again and died peacefully a few years later. He was happy to join his beloved. The waterfall continued to sink under the fairies' benevolence. The inhabitants nicknamed it “The Enchanted Waterfall“.
