One of the great Beatle grooves. Such a damn good rocker. And a quirky one! I had a hell of a time studying this, matching the odd little tempo changes (LOTS of rushing between verses), Ringo's incredible fills, and that tight-as-you-know-what rhythm section. This is proof that the Beatles were TIGHT. They even rushed as a unit. I love this song. Most notable for INCREDIBLE drumming by Ringo - he plays 5 different fills to lead into the chorus. Dude was so underrated. You can see my “notes“ page taped to the bass drum to remind me of which fill to play :) Major appreciation to Paul's piano playing, along with a blistering Vox Continental solo (props to my friend Jack for persuading me to get a proper Continental VST!).
