A rare whale has been spotted in the waters of the Dapeng Bay off the coast of the city of Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province several days in a row, and local officials established a special work team to protect the animal. The whale is an 8-meter-long young Bryde's whale and it was first spotted in the waters of the Dapeng Bay on June 29.
