In this Video we make unique recipe called “Chicken Chutkhara Gobi“ where you incorporate cabbage in a chicken dish for those who may not prefer cauliflower (Gobi). Here is a step-by-step guide on how to make this dish: Ingredients: Onion Garlic Ginger Green Chili Tomato Cauliflower Chicken Lemon Red Chillies Dry Coriander Powder Fenugreek Turmeric Peshawari Kadhai Masala Salt Cooking oil Instructions: Heat half a cup of oil in a pan or kadhai. Once the oil is hot, add finely chopped onions. Saute the onions until they turn translucent and golden brown. Add minced garlic and ginger to the onions. Cook until the raw smell disappears and they turn slightly brown. Add the chicken pieces to the onion-garlic-ginger mixture. Fry the chicken until it turns slightly golden brown on the edges. Now, add the rest of the spices - red chillies, dry coriander powder, fenugreek, turmeric, Peshawari Kadhai Masala, and salt to the chicken. Adjust the spices according to your taste preferences. Blend the tomatoes into a smooth paste and add it to the chicken mixture. Stir well to combine. Add chopped green chillies for heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice into the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly. Cook the chicken with the spices and tomatoes until the oil starts separating from the mixture. This indicates that the spices are well cooked. Wash the cabbage thoroughly and chop it finely. Blanch the chopped cabbage in hot water for a few minutes. Drain the water and add the blanched cabbage to the chicken mixture. Roast the cabbage along with the chicken and spices until it's well combined and cooked through. Once the cabbage is cooked and integrated with the chicken mixture, let it simmer for a while. Turn off the heat and let the flavors settle for a few minutes. Serve the Chicken Chutkhara Gobi hot with warm roti or naan. You can also serve it with a side of yogurt-based raita to complement the dish. Enjoy your unique Chicken Chutkhara Gobi! Adjust the spice levels and cabbage quantity as per your preference for a delightful meal.
