In this video you see me building a giant diy onewheel (or monowheel) from an old hoverboard. I used the 2 motors, motherboard, one gyro sensor, and battery from the hoverboard. It can be charged through the hoverboard charging port. To make the motherboard accept signal from left gyro sensor you should loop the blue and green wire to the input from the right gyro sensor on the motherboard. To make the motors turn in opposite direction you should rewire the hall sensor of one motor: blue to yellow and yellow to blue. Motor main power should be wired: blue to green, green to blue, yellow to yellow. With these modifications 1 gyro sensor should control the 2 motors together, which are spinning in opposite direction now. I built a test setup first to make sure all this would work. The result is a working onewheel, however riding it is difficult. But that's maybe just me, I can't ride a regular hoverboard either :). After some practice I succeeded in riding in a str
