Ivan Soshinsky - Striving (2015) for piano modificato and live multimedia art piano modificato - Natalia Cherkasova multimedia art - Ivan Soshinsky Concert Hall of the Collegium Hungaricum Vienna, Austria In the composition “Striving“ used 31-equal tempered scale giving tension and subtlety to the perception of sound. To play such a variety of microtonal sounds on keyboard the author has designed a special software program «MidiTuner» that produces necessary changes to the synthesizer sound.
