S3 EDIT HERE: SPOILER alert for the entire season 2! Dark. Is. Perfection. I literally studied all the episodes, every frame, quote, moment, action, gesture.... all is connected, but season 2 brought the connections at an insane level! I can't wait for season 3 to see what Sic Mundus has in mind! The entire cinematography is amazing, Dark makes you reasoning about life. What I understood is that there are no real villains, Adam is just pursuing a plan but even he knows that time, as god, rules our lives and carries past, present and future. Adam and Claudia, shadow and light, are in my opinion the most complex characters on the show, interesting as their quotes. The question will not be when anymore, but what world.
