Hello, here is another knife restoration video, this knife or blade was given to me a few moths ago, I noticed the unique shape of the blade, it looks like a barong or barung (but a shorter version). those kinds of blades or knives originated from south east Asia. particularly from the southern part of Philippines and even Borneo. this is a Handmade Knife, about 9 inches the length of the blade, there are noticeable corrosion pitting even after my restoration. Traditional blacksmith uses Iron wood or Buffalo horn for the handle with decorative brass fittings on it. I was able to find a buffalo horn online for this restoration project.
