The Beatles performing “The Long And Winding Road.“ Following conflicts in the band during the White Album sessions, Paul McCartney would go to his farm in Scotland to ease tensions, it was during this period that he began writing The Long And Winding Road. According to Paul it was a sad song, but at the same time it helped him recognize some of the deepest feelings he had at that time. The song was taken to the Get Back project sessions in January 1969. After rehearsing and polishing it at the EMI studios in Abbey Road, the promotional video was recorded on January 31, along with other songs.
