The Russian Ministry of Defense published a video on Monday, August 19, showing a former Massachusetts city councilor who is wanted in the US on charges of possession of child pornography serving in the Russian army. Wilmer E Puello-Mota, a former elected official in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and US Air Force veteran, is seen in the footage describing his experiences in the Russian army. Puello-Mota was believed to have fled the United States in January in violation of a court order while awaiting trial in Rhode Island for possession of child pornography, according to The Moscow Times.
