Female leopard calling for her cub using roars, grunts, and huffs. The different vocalizations all carry a different distance so that the cub can judge where she is to join up. The leopard was known as the Tai Dam female. A previous, much shorter version, of this archive footage of leopard vocalizations was published back in 2010 but this has much more of the roars and grunts of the female leopard to give a better idea of how they communicate. Although we didn't see the reunion on this occasion she did successfully raise the cub she was calling here. Filmed in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa Subscribe: | Merch: Watch the newest videos: Follow Rob The Ranger: TWITTER: INSTAGRAM: BLOG: FACEBOOK: STEEMIT: @robt
