A song celebrating the foundation of the Paris Commune on the 18th of March 1871. This version is from a documentary in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Commune in 1951. I have a full version of this song that I will post on the main channel a few months, but I feel that this version is honestly superior, the big issue being of course that it is only a fragment of the full song. Thus I felt it deserves archival on the second channel. Year recorded: 1951 Composer: Joseph Kosma Lyricist: Henri Bassis Source: CineArchives Image: Chinese poster “Long Live the Paris Commune“ (巴黎公社万岁), Revolutionary Committee of the Shanghai Drama College (上海戏剧学院革委会供稿), March 1971.
