What happens when someone tries to turn the monster truck rally icon Robosaurus into a TV action star? You get the 1992 failed NBC pilot Steel Justice. The loopy premise saw a futuristic cop aided by a sage time traveler battling the bad guys that killed his son with the help of son’s Robosaurus toy which grows into the full-size, flame-snorting, car-crushing Robosaurus to take down criminals. Is it any wonder the network passed?
