Yves V - Octagon

Belgian producer and Tomorrowland resident Yves V is no stranger to Smash The House, having appeared on the label before with collaborations such as ‘Memories Will Fade’ alongside Promiseland, and ‘King Cobra’ with Don Diablo. Now he makes his solo debut on the imprint, with his new track ‘Octagon’. From the off it’s clear that Yves is made for the Smash The House family, as ‘Octagon’ launches straight into the epitome of high energy electro house. Combining stomping rhythms with roof-raising synths, this one is perfectly crafted to get you in the mood for some serious dancefloor devastation. Building into a proper mainstage anthem, ‘Octagon’ is designed with festivals in mind, and will get plenty of chance to prove its worth at the likes of TomorrowWorld in Atlanta, where Yves is also a resident DJ and is playing the same bill as Smash The House bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who are giving this one plenty of mileage themselves. ‘Octagon’ has been causing a storm over on the isle of Ibiza this Summer at Yves’ appearances at the wild SuperMartXé, not to mention his shows at Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s House Of Madness party at Amensia throughout the season. ‘Octagon’ is out via Beatport on September 14th, so make sure you get your hands on a copy and play it nice and loud.
