The animated video for my new single A Strange Beginning, built using a combination of live footage and animation, and some experimentation with AI models. The song is the first release from my forthcoming album “The Way Back From Here“ (due for release February 2024) and explores some of the feelings of confusion and excitement felt during lockdown. Confusion as my social and musical life had largely been completely changed, and excitement because I had the time to sit and develop new concepts without the constant pressure of a release cycle, or any gigs to take me away from the creative process.
