Dee D. Jackson achieved big international success with her Automatic Lover single in 1978 and the follow-up single Meteor man from her debut album Cosmic Curves. A new single, Fireball, followed in March 1979 but did not chart. An Italian-only single Which Way Is Up was released in the summer of 1979. The second LP, Thunder And Lightning, was released early 1980 but despite being an even stronger effort than Cosmic Curves, the lead single . (Love To The Rescue) generated very little interest except for Italy where the album was released under the name The Fantastic Dee D. Jackson. The original German Jupiter Records-pressing is very scarce and copies often sell for between 50 and 100 Euros. It was belatedly released in Japan in 1984, Sky Walking chosen as the lead single. A cut-and-paste edit of . was released in Canada 1982 but I don't care much for it and have not included it here as it offers nothing new. I have added the long version of Fireball to the album - it was not included on the original LP. 00:00 .
