Thirty Five Summers - 'I Didn't Try Club' (1991)

From the early '90s Merseyside scene, indie band Thirty Five Summers made their debut on vinyl with 1990's 'Come Together' (The Beatles) single. Off the back of this, they secured a record deal with RCA which resulted in two further single releases in 1991. 'I Didn't Try' was the first, remixed here by fellow Liverpudlians The Sound Foundation, who also did a mix of the follow-up, 'Really Down'. When the band split, a completed album was shelved, but it got a belated release in 2003 as 'Sketch', in Japan only.
