A loose rib is pretty common on old double barrel shotguns. In this video Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, demonstrates how to properly repair the loose rib on an antique Parker double barreled shotgun. Once the rib is removed, the surfaces are cleaned, then using a propane torch, flux and solder, the rib is re-attached.
